Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Agreement

Coetio is a club management tool for student organizations. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Coetio.

2. Who may use Coetio

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission to use the service. Club membership records may only be created for real people who are aware their information is being recorded.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information — impersonating another person is not allowed. Club owners and officers are responsible for how they manage their club's records and members.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Coetio to:

  • harass, bully, threaten, or harm anyone;
  • post content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit;
  • collect other people's information without their knowledge;
  • misrepresent a club, school, or organization you do not belong to;
  • attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its data;
  • send spam or unwanted messages through club features.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or delete clubs that violate these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post (announcements, notes, images, and similar). By posting it, you give Coetio permission to store and display it as needed to run the service. You are responsible for what you post; do not post anything you don't have the right to share.

6. Coetio's intellectual property

The Coetio name, logo, design, and software are the property of Coetio's operator and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or create derivative versions of the service or its branding without written permission. If you believe content on Coetio infringes your copyright, email support@coetio.com and we will review and remove infringing material.

7. Schools and clubs

Coetio is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any school unless expressly stated. Club leaders are responsible for following their school's own rules about student organizations and student information.

8. The service is provided as-is

Coetio is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Export your important records regularly.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coetio and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use Coetio (currently zero).

10. Ending service

You may stop using Coetio and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or end the service (or your access to it) at any time, with or without notice. Where practical, we will give club owners a chance to export their records first.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above will change when we do. Continuing to use Coetio after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA. Questions: support@coetio.com.
