Privacy and safety

A date of birth stays with the account
Rosters and every export a leader can download are built from the membership record, and that record has no date-of-birth column. There is no birthday in them to leave out by mistake.
Ballots stay on the server
A poll sends each member the counts, the total and their own vote. Who chose what stays on the server, so the page source has nothing to find.
Attachments are private files
Since late August 2026, a permission slip attached to a post is a private file. Coetio checks who is asking, then hands over a link that stops working after a minute. Files attached before then still have a permanent address.
